Children were queuing,
With lights they had made.
All ready to march,
In a Lantern Parade.
People dressed up warm,
In hats, gloves, and tights,
All patiently waiting,
For the switch on of lights.
Streets full of people,
In rows five, six abreast.
When the parade came in sight,
They were really impressed.
Off to the Cathedral,
They amassed in the square.
To see them all there.
